At the early age of thirteen years old, Dr. Witt’s interest in the field of orthodontics was ignited. Following a series of orthodontic treatments, he was amazed by the results. Not only was his smile completely transformed, but also a newfound sense of confidence emerged. The ability to provide the same feeling to patients daily represents one of the most rewarding aspects of his job.

Dr. Witt is proud to share his experience and expertise with the dental students at UConn, where he has been teaching for several years. Because of this, he had the honor of placing the doctoral hood on his daughter, Dr. Julia Witt, who graduated from the UConn School of Dental Medicine and plans to follow in her dad’s footsteps by going on to receive her specialty training in orthodontics and continue the tradition of excellence he has established.
